American Red Cross/ Free Donor Haircuts (Sept.)

The American Red Cross and Sport Clips Haircuts are teaming up to show that “Saving Lives Never Looked So Good.” During the month of September, those who come to give blood or platelets at participating Red Cross blood drives and blood donation centers will receive a coupon for a free haircut. Eligible donors can visit to find more information about the promotion and to find a participating blood drive in Big Cat Country (September 16-30).

20th reunion of the E-town High Class of 1994. The reunion will be held Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 19-21. Friday, join classmates to watch the homecoming football game. Cody’s Cause Inc. Ride

Cody’s Cause Inc. Ride in honor of SPC Cody Baker of Hardinsburg, a victim of PTSD. All proceeds from the ride will go toward the purchase of a trained service dog for a veteran who suffers from PTSD. The ride begins and ends at Chick Ridge Bike Rally in Hardinsburg, followed by a flag ceremony, auction, cook-out and live music.
