The American Red Cross and Sport Clips Haircuts are teaming up to show that “Saving Lives Never Looked So Good.” During the month of September, those who come to give blood or platelets at participating Red Cross blood drives and blood donation centers will receive a coupon for a free haircut. Eligible donors can visit redcrossblood.org/sport-clips to find more information about the promotion and to find a participating blood drive in Big Cat Country (September 16-30).
20th reunion of the E-town High Class of 1994. The reunion will be held Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 19-21. Friday, join classmates to watch the homecoming football game. Saturday, join us for dinner, dancing and music at Las Margaritas. Sunday, join classmates for a farewell brunch at the EHS Commons Area from 11-1. Cody’s Cause Inc. Ride in honor of SPC Cody Baker of Hardinsburg, a victim of PTSD. All proceeds from the ride will go toward the purchase of a trained service dog for a veteran who suffers from PTSD. The final White Mills Civic League’s “Down Home Nights” is Saturday, September 20th from 7 – 9 p.m. in the White Mills Ball Park Pavilion. Refreshments with the Masterson Family and Friends Band.
