Happy Memorial Day!! |
  Saturday, May 20th was a red letter day for soldiers, past and present, and their families as they were honored at the 1st annual Hooray for Heroes! 2006 held at the Radcliff - Stithton Baptist Church parking lots. The weather was perfect and hundreds of people made their way out to enjoy free food, games and the company of clowns, friends and entertainers! Not to mention the Patriotic Tribute held later that evening in the Stithton Auditorium! Let's take ourselves a gander! |

Moms, kids, dads and grandparents milled around climbing tanks, sliding down the slides and climbing the rock wall for hours and eating the delicious BBQ when they got tired and hungry! Why I believe there was even icee drinks on the scene! |

Entertainment also filled a huge part of the day! From KOOL 103.5 WASE's Les Cook and WLVK's Cale Tharp and "Crew"...some of which were operating undercover...to bands like the Kory Brunson Band and the Amy Jane McCabe Band, clowns and more! |

Whew!!! What a day! Thanks to Rene' Bell - our photographer for the day! She musta been the longest standing person that day to get all these shots! Thanks to you for your tremendous support!
